Golf
In the centre of Playa de Las Américas, Golf Las Américas stands in a unique location, forming a natural amphitheatre facing the ocean, with glorious views of the island of La Gomera. The 18 holes form an oasis of lush tropical fairways and greens interspersed with lakes, bunkers and palm trees. A challenging course, designer John Jacobs, gave priority to a myriad of obstacles on this par 72 course, which covers a total of 6,039 metres. An excellent Club House which caters for all Golfers’ needs. Constructed around and within the Golf Course are several select developments. These provide accommodation ranging in size from one bedroom apartments to luxury villas.
Other golf courses at Golf del Sur, Adeje and Amarilla are all less than 20 minutes away. For any beginners or those seeking to improve their short game, a good quality par 3 course at Los Palos is only a short drive.
Watersports
Europe’s largest water park, Siam Park, has recently been constructed and is a unique experience. There is also an existing (and very popular) water park.
Perhaps the most popular attraction is the ocean itself, and las Américas boasts miles of sandy beaches, with all manner of water sports on offer, as well as excursions to visit the resident whale population.

There are numerous gymnasiums & sports facilities on the doorstep, including in most hotels, which you can use on a pay as you go basis.

There is no excuse not to keep up your fitness levels, as you can find tennis courts, padel tennis, swimming pools, and of course beautiful walks around the area.
There are literally hundreds of restaurants and bars appealing to all tastes, from teppanyaki and sushi, to fish and chips and traditional tapas.
Las Américas has also been called a shoppers paradise, because of the low retail tax rate in Tenerife, and you’ll find everything from designer clothes to the latest electronic gizmos on offer.
